The Community Investment Corporation of Decatur focuses on community improvement and capacity building, and is a not-for-profit lender that provides financing to entrepreneurs and business to develop and grow in the Decatur area.

Our Services

Business Loans
We manage two business loan funds: A Revolving Loan Fund and a Small & Minority Business Loan Fund. Our brochure and application (below) gives an overview of both funds and their intended uses and requirements.

Housing Counseling
CICD provides counseling for 1st time home buyers; foreclosure prevention; and some credit counseling. CICD partners with HUD, IHDA, and other agencies; both public and private, to provide this counseling.

Combating Homelessness

CICD and the City of Decatur have partnered with FORWARD connecting local businesses to a comprehensive of resources and incentives during COVID-19.
